Michael A. Warden

Mike began his career in 1973 in Ontario, Canada, where he worked for the I.B.E.W. in all aspects of the trade. He was head of the Examining Committee for the I.B.E.W. for six years. He has taught apprentice electricians at St. Clair College in Canada. Mike holds a City of Austin License and SBCCI MASTER ELECTRICIAN License. He previously held a Master Electrician License in Michigan and the Province of Ontario.

Mike has supervised projects ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000. Some of these were high volume, short term projects requiring the supervision of 50 to 150 electricians working under extreme time constraints to complete projects in 4 to 5 months allotted. Mike was the superintendent for KST Electric, Ltd. working at the UT Psychology Complex. The buildings ranged from a basement (15 kv Distribution Center) to 7 floors. It required 50 men at times to keep up with the short build schedule. This was a very complex project held to strict UT Standards. We kept on or ahead or schedule throughout the entire project. He is currently a project manager on jobs of various sizes.
