Pre-Planning

It is the duty of the KST Pre-Planning department to read and understand all of the Construction Documents associated with a job (drawings, specifications, submittals, contracts, estimates, addendums, RFI's, etc.).  Pre-Planners also render feeder and branch conduit runs, electrical room lay-outs, lighting lay-outs, temporary service/temporary power lay-outs, special systems, and necessary re-circuiting for ease of installation, etc.  in 2D and in 3D.  Pre-planners coordinate work and resolve problems by  assisting Project Managers and Field Foreman, discover potential conflicts and assist in the RFI process, update drawings, and stay current with updated information. Our Pre-planning department is familiar with the National Electric Code (NEC) (NFPA 70) and has the capability to comprehend and adhere to State and Local codes and ordinances. This department also provides any shop drawings necessary to meet the requirements of a job and/or clarification in areas that are in question.
